Remember why you trained as a nurse? Because you wanted to spend 1:1 time with your patients providing high quality care?

Williton Hospital Meadow Ward is a 20 bed ward providing Stroke Rehabilitation, General Medical, End of Life and Palliative Care in a community setting. We are lucky enough to have state of the art equipment along with a dedicated 7 day ambulatory clinic service supporting our local patients to ensure that they can have the treatment they need without the journey to an acute.

Meadow Ward is a sub-acute Stroke Unit with a strong multi-disciplinary team all helping towards the safe discharge of our patients back into the community. We are a nurse-led team with an autonomous working culture and are privileged to have support on site from our dedicated Palliative Care, Stroke & Care of the Elderly consultants.

As a nurse on our ward you will be a strong a team player & be committed to providing holistic care with a passion to improve the patient experience. You will be supporting the Senior Sister in the daily running of the ward together with supervision of the Health Care Assistant staff.

Williton Hospital has a relaxed home-from-home setting with beautiful gardens accessible to both staff & patients. We are situated in the small friendly town of Williton in West Somerset near the coast and surrounded by stunning countryside with good transport links to wider Somerset.
