An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join our inpatient team at Wellington Community Hospital.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a compassionate and caring approach to their care delivery, working with patients who have undergone surgery or been medically unwell to support their rehabilitation. They should also have a genuine interest in nursing older people who may need encouragement to meet their full potential in order to return to their own homes.

The post offers an opportunity to gain experience in wound care, management of multiple medical co-morbidities and complex discharge planning and would be suitable for an experienced or newly qualified nurse looking to be part of a small friendly team of dedicated staff.

Wellington Hospital is perfectly placed in a small town in rural Somerset. It has extensive grounds and free car parking on site for staff and visitors. Informal visits to the hospital are very much encouraged.
