Patient Services Administrator – Warwick House Medical Practice
93 % of our patients would be ‘extremely likely’ or ‘likely’ to recommend our surgery to their friends and family – this is largely due to our great team of Patient Services Administrators. We have an opportunity to recruit 2 new members to our team.
Whilst previous experience of working in a similar role or the NHS is advantageous, personal qualities are just as important in this role. We are looking for someone who likes to be challenged mentally, use their initiative and want to develop their skills and role. If you have previous experience of a role within a GP practice, we would help you develop further.
The Role: It’s not always easy dealing with patient and their expectations, but this is what makes the role so rewarding. It is a varied and interesting job and involves performing a range of tasks, including face to face contact with patient as well as administrative tasks. The key role of the Patient Services Administrator is to be the first point of contact for patients.
Please see the job description and person spec for full details.
We are a small friendly team who take pride in nurturing a friendly, informal and supportive environment in which to work while ensuring we deliver high quality, patient-centred care to our patients.
You will also be flexible, motivated and organised with excellent, administration, data management and communication skills. Successful applicants will possess the ability to work independently, accurately and efficiently.
It is essential that the practice is adequately staffed at all times and the successful applicant will be expected to be flexible with regards to cover for absences due to holidays or sickness
Warwick House Medical Practice is situated in the South East corner of Taunton within easy access of junction 25 of the M5 motorway. It serves a mixed urban and semi-rural population of nearly 7,000 patients and is not a directorate of Taunton & Somerset Trust.
Please note: We reserve the right to amend the closing date of any position based on the number of completed applications received, therefore early application is highly recommended.
