The Beacon Centre provides cancer care to the population of Somerset of approximately 500,000. It has received a number of accolades since opening in 2009 for the high quality care delivered. These include CHKS ISO 9001 accreditation, Macmillan Quality Environment Mark score of 5 (out of 5) on all principles, Investors in People Gold and Customer Service Excellence A+++ award. In the 2015/16 National Cancer Patient Experience Survey, the Beacon Centre was ranked second overall which is an excellent reflection of the patient centred care delivered. It is a JACIE accredited centre where 15 – 20 PBSCT are undertaken annually.

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated nurse, with experience and knowledge in caring for patients with Lymphoma to join our haematology team. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing clinical support for patients and relatives with Lymphoma.

You will be involved in the provision of nurse led clinics and play a key role in the monitoring and development of the haematology service to ensure patients receive sustainable, high quality care 

You must be able to make professional, autonomous decisions and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You should be able to demonstrate solid leadership skills along with the vision and ability to influence others in the provision of high standards of care for all patients and their families.
