Project Manager – (Maternity Cover)

Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust has signed up to driving a culture of continuous improvement through our organisation.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to cover maternity leave on a fixed term contract (12 months) at Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.

This person will manage a range of projects within the Trust’s Improvement Team.

The Project Manager will be an individual with strong project management expertise (ideally of improvement project management), working with complex systems and developing highly effective working relationships. The primary focus of the role is the day to day management of projects that leads to the delivery of improvement projects which is sufficient to deliver sustainable change for the Trust.

This role will manage projects underpinning improvement including their accurate reporting and effective coordination. The individual will work closely with members of the operational and corporate teams.

The Project Manager will be a highly skilled individual who is able to develop excellent and effective relationships with operational and corporate teams to support the delivery of improvement projects. This individual will succeed by effectively deploying their expertise and experience to support projects with the aim to improve health, better care and lower costs. 

Project Management experience in an acute hospital setting is desirable but not essential.
