We are seeking an enthusiastic Dietitian to join our Department in Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton. This is a busy rotational post offering excellent experience. You would provide services to adult wards, a general clinic and undertake patient group education. We are currently re-structuring the team and working with the community dietitians in Somerset, and subject to a consultation this post will include a rotation within the community.

You would be joining our friendly and supportive department of 20 Dietitians (17.2WTE), 2 Dietetic Assistants, 2 Nutrition Nurses (1.4WTE) and Department secretary.

Dietetic specialities within Musgrove Park Hospital include diabetes, paediatrics, nutrition support, medical and surgical obesity management and oncology. Expertise and support from specialist Dietitians would be available to help you manage the patients under your care.

You need to be registered as a Dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council and have relevant training/ NHS experience

The department takes Student Dietitians from Plymouth University for A, B and C placements, and actively encourages training and CPD.
