Are you a registered nurse looking for a challenge and new experiences?
The Ambulatory Emergency Care (AEC) is a fast paced and dynamic environment, providing same day emergency care to patients in the hospital.
We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic and caring nurse, who is reliable and flexible to join our team on a temporary basis, as part of a rotation within the hospital.
Working in the AEC, you will be assessing patients who present with an acute medical illness, who may need in-patient admission, or may be able to be discharged the same day. Using your people skills, you will put your patients at ease whilst using your decision making skills to think on the spot.
You will work collaboratively with A+E staff, in-patient wards, multi-professional teams and patients to facilitate admission avoidance as well as early discharge.
This is a rotational post to start on AEC for 12 months, you can then move on to another area of the hospital. We are able to be flexible to cater for your interests.
A great opportunity to explore your interests within a supportive hospital.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
