We are looking for enthusiastic emergency medicine doctors to work in our innovative and friendly Emergency Department. This is to complement our existing team of emergency medicine consultants, middle grade doctors, GPs and ENPs.
Come and enjoy working in our recently refurbished and upgraded majors and resus rooms in the ED, a trauma unit in the Severn Trauma Network, which is undergoing a transformation with a recent government grant to build a new Integrated Front Door which combines urgent care with the emergency department.
We have a number of opportunities to offer, including:
• Having protected time to pursue additional experience in any specialist area, including education, simulation, or ultrasound. We’re also able to discuss funding to pursue this up to Postgraduate Certification level.
• Work alongside the National Clinical Advisor for ED for NHS England & our ED improvements project manager to gain management and quality improvement experience.
Our posts offer you a range of opportunities, from chances to link in with projects in Zanzibar, as well and benefiting from the knowledge sharing and experience of some of the biggest influencers in emergency care in the UK. We’re confident we can offer you one of the best environments to develop your career, along with enhancing our patient care with the skills you bring.
With our support you’ll have plenty of room for developing your speciality interests. We’re also the South West’s highest scored trust for training by the GMC, with our own onsite academy linked to Bristol University.
We’ve broken down what we can offer over in the Video (see link on NHS Jobs advert) and documents attached, but we would love for you come and visit us.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
