Rydon Ward in Taunton are looking for Mental Health Nurses (RMN) to contribute to providing excellent services.
We know that working on an acute ward can be challenging, but with the right team we are rising to the challenge and making a difference.
Rydon Ward consists of 2 fully refurbished wards, both looking after 15 adults. We provide an environment that is modern, bright, clean and safe for our residents to recover in, as well as a great facility for our staff to work in.
We will empower you to work innovatively, showing a commitment to providing compassionate care and a strong desire to improve the patient’s experience. You will be able to apply the philosophies of engagement, recovery and positive care in your work with your patients.
We are 1 of 9 wards in the UK with 2 beds for Ministry of Defence Civilians and we are also based alongside 2 other acute mental health wards including a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit and Older Persons Ward. This creates an environment where you will be able to learn from your colleagues, whilst supporting each other to provide the most high-quality patient care.
We are fortunate enough to be able to consider applications from preceptees and will pay your first year’s registration fee for NMC, and we can offer an excellent relocation package for those looking to move to the area.
If you join us you will benefit from all of the above, as well as excellent support from your manager and colleagues and you’ll have opportunities to access specialist training in line with your professional development.
We would love to hear from you so please get in touch or apply if you feel you have what we are looking for and vice versa.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
