Ask yourself, why did you become a nurse? At Somerset Partnership we believe this is simple: to care for people.
We have an opportunity for you to join us and do just that.
Chard Community Hospital is located in the vibrant town of Chard in South Somerset, and has a real community feel to it. We would like you to come and be a part of this. Working in the community hospital, you will work closely with the therapy teams, social services and GP’s to help patient’s return to their own homes. You will be able follow the patient’s journey from when they come to us, throughout their care, until they hopefully get to go home, which is a rewarding experience for all involved.
This is an exciting time for us, as we look to start taking acute patients and escalating their care in the community. This is an opportunity for you to work in a rehabilitation environment with an amazing team, whilst upskilling in areas such as end of life care and rehabilitation.
We will support your transferrable clinical skills with training packages tailored to your needs. We also offer a great preceptorship programme for those who are newly qualified.
If you are a forward thinking, compassionate nurse who is keen to be involved in the fantastic hands on care provided at the community hospital, we want to hear from you.
A fully paid comprehensive induction will be provided including a uniform and a DBS check.
*This role will include an induction period at the nearby South Petherton Community Hospital, where you will be joining the existing team who are looking forward to returning to Chard Hospital when it re-opens.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
