We have a vacancy for a Band 5 staff nurse to join our District Nursing Service in the North Sedgemoor Federation, covering Burnham on Sea and Cheddar areas.

We are able to offer preceptorships, clinical skills development and courses to support both management and clinical progression. We operate a service between the hours of 08.00 and 22.00 over a seven day period including weekends and bank holidays.

We are privileged to be able to offer nursing care in the home environment and work with a range of supporting services to tailor care to patient need. We also access an Ambulatory clinic in Bridgwater Hospital. Work is varied and interesting and includes PICC line care and IV therapies, wound management and palliative care. We work as an integrated team with our colleagues in Rehab therapies and Older person's mental health nursing.

We are looking for candidates with a passion to deliver quality care and support to people at home. The successful candidate must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Interviews will be held on 14 January 2019 at Cheddar Medical Centre.

If you would like to visit us beforehand to gain a wider understanding of the Community nursing service please contact one of the Team Leaders (numbers as listed below).
