The Somerset Partnership Foundation Trust is now recruiting for an HCPC registered Psychologist, at Band 8a level, with experience in the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
The Somerset Autism Spectrum Service is a small specialist NHS team made up of Clinical Psychologists and Autism Practitioners who provide diagnostic assessments for working age adults.
In addition to assessment, the service offers post-diagnostic support as required, and provides training and advice to health and social care colleagues.
The successful applicant will have a clinician-manager role, including both assessment and team management responsibilities, and have demonstrable evidence of:
- HCPC registration
- A clinical background, including Autistim assessment
- Management/leadership experience within the health service
- Enthusiasm, passion and energy that will enable you to lead and further develop the Somerset Autism Spectrum Service
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
