The Advice and Support in Custody and Court Team (ASCC) require a part-time Secretary to join our existing team.  ASCC is a comprehensive assessment service for adults and children, who find themselves in contact with the Criminal Justice System.  ASCC practitioners are based in courts and police stations across Somerset, with an administrative base at Glanville House in Bridgwater.

We require a secretary to work as part of a team to provide comprehensive Secretarial services which include telephone duties, good computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook, liaising with members of the public and service users in contact with the team, typing (including audio), compiling monthly audit information, filing, dealing with incoming and outgoing mail, arranging appointments, making travel arrangements, ordering of goods, scanning, petty cash, typing of court forms, taking minutes and distributing as required, providing administrative support to a team of ASCC practitioners and generally assisting in the co-ordination of the smooth running of the team as a whole.
